An article entitled "What is a "labor-saving" auxiliary device for the field/management" has been published.
MONOist," a web-based industrial media, published an article by Naoki Ogawa, a member of our company, titled "What is an Auxiliary Device Useful for "Labor Saving" in the Workplace and Management. The article consists of two parts: "Part 1: Basics" and "Part 2: Experiments.
The first part of this report provides an overview of auxiliary equipment that helps save labor for transporting heavy loads at manufacturing sites and in logistics operations, and explains risk assessment when introducing such equipment.
In the second part of the report, risk assessment when introducing an aid device is explained through a work demonstration by two people of different physiques to illustrate how work posture and differences in physique are evaluated as a workload.
