Product Features
Its compact design minimizes interference with the surrounding area during transport and installation, making it easy to set up.
Since it is battery-powered, it can be used even in environments where compressed air or a power source is not readily available.
Equipped with the “Jumbo Flex” vacuum tube lifter, it allows for effortless one-handed handling of workpieces weighing up to 50 kg.
The dedicated battery carrier (optional) makes battery replacement easy, ensuring long operating times.
While tasks such as warehouse logistics processes within factories and feeding materials into equipment are areas where automation using robots and machinery is advancing, many facilities are unable to commit to full automation due to hurdles related to the work environment and cost-effectiveness. Furthermore, the need for labor-saving solutions is growing even more due to the promotion of work-style reforms and labor shortages caused by the declining birthrate and aging population.
To address these challenges, Schmalz offers the Jumbo series of vacuum tube lifters, which assist with the manual handling of heavy loads—a product line that has been well-received by our customers.
We previously offered the “Jumbo Flex Mobile” mobile vacuum tube lifter as a solution for use in buildings where crane installation is difficult, in environments with frequent layout changes, and in multiple locations . We are pleased to announce that we have now added a new battery-powered model to this lineup .
Just set it up and you're ready to go! A portable solution you can use right where you need it
The “Jumbo Flex Mobile” mobile vacuum tube lifter is a transport system that integrates a vacuum tube lifter, jib crane and vacuum pump into a single unit. It requires no anchoring or assembly work whatsoever; simply set it up and it’s ready to use. Since it can be moved using a forklift or hand pallet truck, it can be quickly relocated to wherever it’s needed, even in facilities with multiple production lines and put to use immediately.
Its extremely compact design minimizes interference with the surrounding area, making it easy to install even in spaces with limited room. The crane mast extends and retracts electrically, allowing for a compact footprint during storage and transport, while operating at a height tailored to the specific application.
Further Enhancing Installation Flexibility
With the newly added battery model, the power required to drive the vacuum pump and electronic control unit is supplied by the built-in battery, allowing for operation without an external power connection. In continuous operation, a single battery charge provides approximately 4 hours of runtime. This enables a smoother installation even in environments where utility resources, such as plant air or 200V power, are limited.
We also offer a dedicated battery carrier as an option to facilitate smooth battery replacement.
This allows for quick and easy battery replacement even during extended operation, enabling you to resume work promptly.
Featuring a simple, one-handed control handle, it is capable of handling workpieces weighing up to 50 kg. Anyone can operate it intuitively, regardless of gender or age. Since it allows for the quick and effortless transport of heavy loads, it is expected to improve the work environment and help attract and retain employees.
